There are just a few tabs here. The Home tab shows metadata and lists the phylogenetic trees in the current collection. There's not much metadata for a collection, just a name and brief description. Note that the collection ID becomes the URL for this collection. This is based on the first name saved with this collection; you should't change the name after that, since that would break any links to the collection.

Click on the name of any included tree to view it in the Open Tree study curation tool. Click Synthesis to submit this collection to our synthesis tools or to see its status in synthesis. Click History to see a combined history of changes to this collection and its use in synthesis.

This tab includes tools for synthesis using this collection. The underlying APIs are still under active development. If you're comfortable using command-line tools, you can try them using these instructions.

This tab shows the edit history for this collection: each saved version of the data, who submitted the changes, and a comment added each time. The history might include edits made in other tools or by automated software. This history is possible because we keep collection files under version control in a GitHub repository.

You'll also see its synthesis history, whenever it was submitted as an input to synthesis. These events are interleaved with the change history to show the collection's state for that particular synthesis run.
